In a strategy session with the Zeiss UK team, we developed a photographic brief that called for big hero images, single focal points and plenty of negative space for branding and text. The models were to be chosen from demographics not typically associated with the birdwatching community.
The location chosen for the shoot was a private country estate with a small forest that led into a clearing. This was the perfect location to portray the models using the binoculars in different rural environments and situations.
From the shoot we presented Zeiss UK with over 200 images to use for their marketing campaigns across multiple platforms including email, social media and print. The campaign also ran in major UK outdoor magazines.
